Ingredients: Organic arrowroot powder, organic coconut oil, baking soda (no aluminum), organic lilac scent extract (in organic sunflower oil). That's it! No "Bad" Stuff!
So fresh, so floral, so clean--you'll want to keep sniffing yourself! This Pit Putty is true to lilac scent -- just like the big tufts of purple flowers you see every spring. Lilac is a delicate floral, kind of like a fresh baby powder scent, but not overwhelmingly sweet or perfumey. In addition to the deodorizing organic scent extract, we have wetness-absorbing arrowroot powder and just a touch of baking soda, a natural odor-blocker that raises the pH of the underarm so it's less hospitable to odor-causing bacteria. We use baking soda at a less than 5% concentration so it's not irritating on skin. The product goes on powdery and dry, but silky smooth.
Certification: USDA Certified Organic
- Baking soda raises the pH of the underarm making it less hospitable to bacterial growth.
- Arrowroot powder helps absorb perspiration.
- Vegan & no animal testing
- No aluminum
- No synthetic chemicals or estrogen mimickers.
- Guaranteed to Work!

I've tried so many natural deodorants. They're all sitting unused in a drawer (I might throw them out soon). This one works to keep me smelling nice for quite a while, and I think even longer with the Pit Primer. I'm so glad I found this company, thanks to a friend's recommendation!
This is the best deodorant I have ever used. Every other natural deodorant I've used has not worked and left me with a terrible rash. This works great! I do keep it I'm the fridge (this maintains its shape and there is zero crumbling)
This product is pretty much perfect. Great fragrance, no rash and keeps me fresh smelling and dry about 24 hrs. (that's not an exaggeration) Some complain that the stick crumbles. They simply are rolling it up too high. The trick is to just roll it to a millimeter above the lip. Roll it gently in 1 direction. Easy peasy and no crumbling. I will never buy any other deodorant.
Love it! Works great, especially to eliminate odor. Milder scent than Geranium Lime (that was my favorite). Great product. Much appreciated.
This deodorant was recommended to me by the questionnaire on this website because I have very sensitive skin and it has not disappointed! It is very gentle and smells great . It doesn't last a super long time but it does work for several hours and eliminated the irritating rash from my other deodorant!
This is my 2nd Pit Putty. If you FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS it is great. I am allergic to the natural deodorants that contain baking soda & it is in a lot of them. I have tried a lot a lot of natural/organic deodorants & some I have to reapply half way thru the day. Pit Putty works great all day with ONE application & does not irritate my pits. I love it.
A little bit of a learning curve for best application, but it’s a wonderful product! Have gone through one stick, just ordered two more. Also ordered the pit primer, high hopes for that as well!
This product was disappointing. I appreciated the instructions for using what is a very different product from your regular, off the shelf deodorant, but even when following the instructions, the deodorant is so fragile that bits of it go all over the closet floor. This could be endured if the deodorant worked for me, but it really doesn't...I have to reapply it once or twice for minimal odor control. I wanted to like this, but this is my honest experience, and I don't think I'll order again.
This product is amazing!! I have been struggling with skin irritation and sensitivity underneath my arms for the past 6 months. I tried many other natural deodorants, including Schmidt’s, which gave me a horrible reaction. I had also tried some essential oil deodorant, but I wasn’t quite satisfied with that product or smell. I stumbled across Bumble and Bee online and had filled out the questionnaire that determines which product would be best for your needs. I received an email shortly after from one of their experts who recommended I try Pit Putty. I ordered the Spring Lilac scent and I am very happy with it!! It works great and I have noticed a huge difference with my skin sensitivity. I would love to try other scents in the future to determine my favorite. I highly recommend this product if you are experiencing any underarm sensitivity or rashes. The only downfall to Pit Putty is that it’s very powdery, so you have to apply it after you put on your shirt or else it’ll leave white residue on your clothing.
I waited to review until i used it all up. I LOVE this Pit Putty! I've used other natural deoderants that eventually caused a bad, painful rash! The Pit Putty works great -- you just have to read everything about how to use it! If you follow all the instructions, you will love it. I'm ordering more for sure. It works & I used the whole stick with no skin irritation. GREAT STUFF!
First time using this scent and it is very impressive. I was not sure what to expect with perspiration and lilac but the scent masked the odor wonderfully.
I've had trouble finding a deodorant that actually worked for me. Then when realized how horrible deodorant from the grocery store is for you I started looking for a natural route. I tried a few different methods of DIY deodorant but they all left my armpits sticky and irritated because of the skin sticking to itself. Then I found Pit Putty! I've only been using it for about a week but it seems like it's doing the job! Just try to remember that you don't need that much and if it applies a little clumpy just rub it in!
