Pit Primer

I decided to try this pit primer because it was on sale. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this. It's a fairly small bottle, which I would go through super fast if this was my only means of cleaning my pits before deodorant application. I will continue to use my preferred method of pit priming, which is rubbing alcohol. Way cheaper, easier to find in stores, and is more effective than this pit primer. I didn't feel like my pits were clean at all after using this, which doesn't make for a good situation for the rest of the day.

I used this a few times and I found that on the days I used it I was smellier sooner. Not sure why, maybe something with my body chemistry just keeps it from working for me.

Overall I like this product. I feel it freshens my pits before applying the paste and leaves me feeling like I smell better. I put a spray top on it and spritz my pits then use a cotton ball if necessary to get any residual dampness up. I far prefer that method of application than using straight cotton balls to apply. Great Product overall!

I prime my face before make up so I might as well prime under my arms for my deodorant. I do not know if it improves my putty because my putty is already awesome but I use it because I need all the help where I can get it.

I used to use just an ethyl rubbing alcohol to clean off my armpits after I got out of the shower or once the inevitable build up of odor causing bacteria started to occur. Then I would apply either the Original Lemon & Clove Pit Putty stick or the cream version of it. The Organic Pit Primer feels so much better than the ethyl rubbing alcohol does though and it appears to keep the odor causing bacteria in check better as well. To be clear, I do still use the ethyl rubbing alcohol a few times a week in conjunction with the Organic Pit Primer which seems to be working out fairly well. It's also still winter though so, I'm not sure how the summer heat/humidity will go. I've also noticed that the contents of the Organic Pit Primer bottle will last a lot longer if you just drip a bit onto your pits then wipe them down instead of applying it directly to the cotton pad/ball. That's probably because I am used to dumping cheap ethyl rubbing alcohol on pads though and am probably trying to put way too much Organic Pit Primer directly on the cotton pad.

It goes on fine and absorbs/quickly, and increases time between applications of the cream deodorant (I can usually go about 4 to 5 hours depending on how much running around I'm doing and how warm it is outside)

I put this primer in a spray bottle (I wish it came in a spray bottle) and use it when I get out of the shower. After I shave and dry off I then follow up with some pit putty. Works everytime!!!

I've tried all kinds of natural deodorants. And none of them could keep the stink away for very long. But the primer is a must for me. I finally found something that works.

I've ordered this twice so far, and I will buy it again. Love it and it works. I also put some in a glass spray bottle and use it on other areas of my body too. Great stuff!

I love this product, it primes the skin and helps the other products work even better. Feels nice and refreshing too.

After I posted my review I read that one person was not using cotton pads to apply and just putting it on her hand and applying directly. I tried that instead of using a cotton pad and it worked way better for me. Great stuff. Just skip the cotton.

I love this product! It does what it's supposed to and is good for my sensitive skin.....much less harsh than the alternatives I've tried. A must have!

I love this product and use it before applying cream deodorant. I have switched to using organic deodorant from antiperspirants, but I sweat and have found by using the primer, it helps reduce odor and I don't have to reapply the cream deodorant as often. I have recommended this and other products to my friends and family.

I just tried this product and I have to say it is wonderful! It just gives your skin that extra clean that soap on its own doesn't do! I've worn Pit Putty for awhile and love it but I noticed after using this product that I go longer before reapplying the Pit Putty!! I highly recommend it!
