Pit Primer

The smell is hard to get used to...somewhat reminiscent of honey...also doesn’t seem to work well with my body chemistry...seems to make deodorant wear off quicker.

Pit primer is a great product that really helps my deodorant last longer and stronger! I would recommend to anyone with sensitive skin, yet wants that extra boost for their deodorant. It is also soothing, not itchy. I use it with the sensitive skin bubble and bee deodorant cream: Almond and Coconut scent. The combination of the two works best for me. I am extremely grateful to have this product as well as the almond coconut deodorant. Without them I really do not know what I would do! Everthing else I have tried before Bubble and Bee makes me itch or is not strong enough. Very happy customer

So far, this is helping me keep my pits clean and fresh smelling along with pit putty. Great if you want to go the extra mile.

I use this product when I want to be sure the deodorant lasts for a long stretch of the day. It does help the effectiveness of pit putty. Frankly it's a small jar that goes quickly if used daily, thus too costly & difficult to keep on hand and the reason why I use it only occasionally.

Love it! If you're the person for whom neither alcohol, vinegar, nor soap + water works to clean off that bacteria, this Pit Primer is for you! It's a clear liquid inside a surprisingly smallish bottle (fits right in your hand, though, so good for airports and travel). The great thing about this is that it's effective, doesn't take too long to dry, and doesn't need to be rinsed off, which is really helpful for evening-shower people like me! At first I found it really hard to apply because the tip is so small, but I just sent a message to Bubble and Bee and they replied with a recommendation to apply it using a cotton ball/pad, and just unscrew the cap if the liquid won't come out. After I applied it, I waited for it to dry, and when I did a sniff test, there was actually NO SMELL! (And this is from the person who's tried about 5 different natural deodorants, most of which have not worked.) I think I would need to test it more to see if it works all the time, but for now, I definitely recommend this Pit Primer to anyone who hasn't had success with either soap, alcohol, or vinegar, and is looking for an effective way to "prime" your pits before putting on natural deodorant.

I use this pit primer before I reapply my organic deodorant. It's great in the summer and also when I don't have time to shower that day.

I have been using organic deodorants for a while, and this just bumps it up a extra step making sure everything smells nice with fighting the bacteria that is left over from spots missed by the loofa in the shower! It is nice! c:

I've been attempting to make the switch from heavy duty antiperspirants to natural deodorant after having a long term rash in my armpit area. Quit using anything (and had to quit shaving too) while I used prescription creams. So I was just using ACV and the creams - that mostly worked to stave off any odor and sweat, maybe because the cream was occlusive? Once the rash was gone I started to research natural deodorants and came across Pit Putty - ordered the trial pack of creams and the Pit Primer. The primer works so much better than ACV or alcohol after a shower (still had a bit of smell from the soap I guess) with the primer I have the smell of NOTHING!! I feel like I'm starting with a clean slate for the deodorants, so I can give them a fair trial because my chemistry and most scents do not mix well... Am wondering if Stephanie has ever thought of making the Primer formula into some kind of unscented deodorant?

I get rank hormonal B.O. (like a skunk in a hot dumpster) a few times a month. No amount of soap, alcohol, or vinegar can touch it. I hesitantly bought this stuff, and it has exceeded my expectations! A few shakes onto a cotton pad, and my stench is completely gone with a couple wipes! I can't recommend enough!

I USE THE PIT PRIMER BEFORE USING 3 DIFFERENT ORGANIC ALUMINUN FREE DEODERANTS. I USE IT WITH A LIQUID ONE FOR EXTRA STRENGTH. IF I DON'T MY PITS WILL SMELL A LITTLE. I USE IT WITH ANOTHER SOLID THAT WORKS GREAT AND SMELLS NICE BUT AFTER USING IT 3 OR 4 DAYS STRAIGHT IT TURNS NY UNDERARMS DARK. (I BELIEVE IS THE BAKING SODA THAT TURMS MY UNDERARMS DARK). LASTLY I USE IT WITH BUBLE & BEE ORGANIC SOLID NO BAKING SODA. ( NO PROBLEMS TO REPORT) SO AS YOU CAN SEE YOU CAN USE THIS PRODUCT WITH THEIR OWN PRODUCTS AND OTHER DEODERANTS- ALUMINUM FREE. I ROTATE MY DEODERANT S INSTEAD OF THROWING THEM OUT WHEN SOMETHING WASN'T WORKING I IMPROVISED. BEST OF LUCK!! I ORDERED 3 BOTTLES ALREADY. I ONLY WISH IT CAME IN A BIGGER BOTTLE. AND I GOT THEM ON SALE TOO.

I love this product and swear by it! this is great at anytime to use, whether you just need to "freshen" your pits, or if you're just out of the shower or bath, are a bit warm and just need to clean out anything from your pores. It's truly fantastic! It really helps with doing a deep cleanse, and I honestly consider this a "facial" scrub on the pits! Definitely recommend..

I never realized what a compliment this primer would be to my usage of pit putties. It's wonderful! I use it before my pit putty application and it aids with odor. If I ever need to refresh I put this on and it makes me feel fresh. I've even used this alone when I was waiting on a shipment of pit putty and it worked great.

I bought this pit primer when it was on sale just to see if it worked. My body gets used to deodorants really easily, and I needed something to help with sweating and smells. This stuff did the trick! I use one drop per pit every morning, and it kills all the smell. I've had it for several months, and I can barely tell I've used any. I recommend not using on a cotton ball. Just a drop on your hand and apply. Highly recommended!!

Loving this cleansing, (what feels like a toner) for preparing my pits to receive the benefits of the natural deodorant. Super refreshing and it reduces any stinky orders. It also allows the deodorant to work properly and last longer. Great product!

I use this first before using any of the other pit putty deodorants. It's kind of a base product to make sure you get the most out of the pit putty products. It's just one more defense against the stink of sweat by the end of the day. In the summer, honestly, nothing really can be done to help it, but this is something to start with anyway.

I just tried this right when I got it. I hadn't showered yet, so I was prepared to test it out. This definately works. No more b.o.
