A "sensitive skin" deodorant that actually works on odor -- and your skin!
With 10 years of deodorant formulating expertise under our belt, we know that when it comes to underarm rashes, in most cases it's not about the absence or presence of any one particular ingredient -- it's about how the overall formula acts on your skin. We've heard so many stories about how people react even to other brands' "sensitive skin" formulas. That's because other companies will just take out the baking soda and call it a "sensitive" version. We know it's more complicated than that.
Most underarm rashes are caused by moisture and friction. Whether it's friction from the actual deodorant you're using (hello scratchy sticks) or skin-to-skin friction (itchy!), skin becomes irritated, red/dark and raw. That irritation can then progress to topical infections (bacterial or fungal) that can be even harder to control. Keeping underarm skin dry and friction free is the key to keeping it happy!
So, in our sensitive skin deodorants, we added a nice dose of skin-soothing zinc oxide and a good amount of wetness-absorbing organic arrowroot powder. Zinc oxide does a great job of creating a protective barrier on skin and arrowroot powder cuts down on friction and moisture!
If you're a heavier sweater or live in a humid climate, we recommend reapplying the cream, a powder, or corresponding Pit Putty Stick on top of it throughout the day to keep that wetness down.
The result? A "sensitive skin" deodorant that has been highly requested!

I have researched and tried so many natural deodorants that were okay, but they were still breaking me out with rash. So I begin my search again until I found bubble bee and read the history and how they educate you on the art of becoming natural and how organic products work, especially since they are certified in this area, caught my attention! I then reached out to customer service and Stephanie was awesome taking time to assist and answer my questions in detail and I must say bubble bee saved my pits!! This is best product for natural deo and I am a customer for life!! Look no further this is your place for natural deo and the smell of this lavender vanilla is amazing it stays with you all day!! I use this sensitive cream followed by a layering of the pit putty stick keeps you dry and smelling fresh all day, most natural deos dissipate eventually as the day goes but not pit puddy, it lasts and a little goes a long way!! I am looking forward to trying other flavors so exciting!! Thank you and keep up the good work bubble team!!
I’ve used Bubble & Bee sensitive skin deo creams for a few years now
and I can’t say enough good things!! I’ve tried many natural deos and had lots of trouble with my underarm skin painfully breaking out - sometimes right away, sometimes after days or weeks. Bubble & Bee sensitive is just right for me! Great scents and gentle on my skin, great protection from odors. Living in the Deep South, in our hot humid months I also use Pit Primer. Highly recommend!!
Great. Easy to put on.
This has been the only natural deodorant that did NOT cause rashes or irritation. I have tried schmidts, toms, native and several other brands. This was recommended by a friend and I am so thankful fo it. I think it does a pretty good job with odorbut am a little self conscious about odor when it is really humid out if don't have an opportunity to reapply. That being said, still the only product that does not irritate although in all other respects I don't typically have sensative skin.
I am in love with this deodorant! I have been using it for a couple of weeks now, and it works so good. I've tried about 6 different kinds of natural deodorant (native, Schmidt's, Jason, Dr. Teals, Lume) and they just didn'tl work well. Some made me irritated, and none of them left smelling so pleasant. This one hasn't caused any irritation, and at the end of the day I don't smell like a sweaty gym bag! It's a miracle! So grateful my sister recommended this deodorant
So gentle and smells awesome. No irritation and lasts several hours without failing me or irritating my skin.
Love this scent! The sensitive deodorant is the only type that doesn't make my skin break out in a rash or cause itchiness. This scent seems to last longer but it could be because I'm just a huge fan of lavender!
I love this deodorant! I normally I get all of my natural products from Lush but all of their deodorants caused a red rash under my arms. I spoke to someone at Bubble and Bee and they suggested the sensitive skin cream deodorants. I tried lavender vanilla as it sounded like a nice, calming scent. (I've tried a few other scents but they never work as well with my body chemistry and I find the lavender vanilla to work the best.) The deodorant is creamy and smooth and applies evenly. It doesn't leave a sticky or slimy feel under my arms either. I find that it works very well! I do make sure to wash my pits each morning with soap and water and also use Witch Hazel as it is an antimicrobial and helps with deodorizing as well. I usually apply it once in the morning after cleaning my pits and once before bed and I'm good to go. I've been using this for at least a year and will continue using it. :D
After birthing my daughter my body chemistry changed and I have struggled for a year to find a natural deodorant that works. I used to use Dove but we have been making green and healthy switches in our home. I have tried Toms, Schmidts, crystal deo and simply going bare and all have been less than stellar. I got horrible burns and rashes with Toms and Schmidts. I wanted something with odor protection and a mild antipersperant and I am floored with how wonderful this product does that! Thank you!
I can’t say enough good things about the sensitive skin pit putty. I always have two flavors going at one time . If it’s a heavy work day I always grab the super pit putty. On a regular work day always love the lavender... so fresh!
I've tried a few but this one works well for me. I have extremely sensitive skin which is what brought me to this website. It keeps me dry even in the summer heat with no negative reactions.
WARNING - NO NATURAL DEODORANT WILL WORK UNLESS YOU HAVE GONE THROUGH THE ARMPIT DETOX PERIOD. GIVE YOURSELF A FEW MONTHS FOR YOUR BODY TO ADJUST BEFORE JUDGING ANY NATURAL DEODORANT!
I love Bubble And Bee's Lavender Vanilla Sensitive Deodorant cream!
I had been looking for an all natural deodorant for a while and had tried LUSH, Tom's of Maine and Schmidt's. They all gave me a rash on my arm pits. Not cool!
I researched Bubble and Bee's and then got in contact with customer service to ask if perhaps the sensitive cream deodorant would work. The ingredients in the sensitive cream are slightly less harsh (not that the regular Bubble and Bee's is harsh at all,) than the regular cream so they suggested I give it a shot. I could always exchange it for a different product or get a refund if I wasn't happy. (And I also have to say, customer service is AMAZING!!!)
I tried Lavender Vanilla, Rose, and Lilac. I used the Lavender Vanilla first. It worked really well. I didn't have sweat stains and wasn't stinky. The next pot I used was Rose. I found I had a bit of a smell with Rose. I saved Lilac for last and also found I had a bit of a smell with it. When I contacted Bubble and Bee about the two scents that really didn't work, they sent me two new pots of Lavender Vanilla since the Rose and Lilac didn't work out. I've since gone through those and have just ordered another 3 pots of Lavender Vanilla. Since you only need a pea sized amount, I usually go through a pot every 2 months or more - give or take how humid the weather is.
I put a pea sized amount on each morning and then before bed. If it's an insanely hot and humid day I will occasionally apply again mid day, but not often. I shower every other day, so after cleansing in the shower, I use Dickenson's Witch Hazel astringent to kill any left over stinky bacteria before applying the deodorant. On non shower days, I still wash my pits and use the astringent.
Bubble and Bee does sell a Witch Hazel astringent for use with natural deodorant as well. I found that without the Witch Hazel, there was always a tiny, TINY residual b.o smell, but not horrible. After I started using the astringent before applying, (which is exactly what the website recommends,) I had ZERO smell!
As I mentioned in the beginning, NO natural deodorant will work right after switching from a chemical antiperspirant. Your armpits have to sweat out all of the crap that has clogged the pores. Some people say give it two weeks. I say give it a few months to truly be able to judge. I didn't think natural deodorants were working after two weeks but after a few months of persistence, they do. I'm smell free and pit stain free.
Bubble and Bee is my go to for deodorant and I'm in Canada. I don't care that shipping is a bit crazy! This stuff works and I'm not switching!!!
