Ingredients: Organic shea butter, organic arrowroot powder, organic coconut oil, organic sunflower oil, aluminum-free baking soda, organic essential oils and/or extracts. These are pre-release units and do not have fancy retail-ready packaging--just a simple ingredients label.
This sample pack includes SIX sample-size (.25 oz) containers, one of each available scent. One sample size typically lasts for two weeks of use, and has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of purchase.
Limited-edition scents (lavender vanilla, lemongrass, etc) are not available in trial sizes because by the time you order them, try them, love them, and want more, they could end up being out of stock again.
Trial sizes do NOT come with our replacement guarantee.
SPECIAL NOTE: IN THE SUMMER MONTHS OR IN HOT CLIMATES, PLEASE CHOOSE 'SUMMER SHIPPING' OPTION SO THIS ITEM DOESN'T MELT DURING TRANSIT.
This item is a package deal and can't be combined with other offers.
I like the scent & trial options, also the guarantee however each deodorant had a 2-3 hr staying time for me. Now I do not eat clean, so it might work for other people that do but I have a natural deodorant I don't have to keep reapplying. I know the stick has longer lasting power but I don't have the time to try to find the one that works for me. I have heard great things about this deodorant and customer service and I think all those things are true. Just my body chemistry needs something stronger.
I tried this stuff based on the recommendation of a friend and I have been so thrilled with the results. All the scents I tried worked well. The products smell good enough to eat (geranium lime is the yummiest!) and work incredibly well. I don't smell any worse at the end of the day than I did when using antiperspirant and I"m not that sweaty either. I love it!!!
I tried Jasmint, orange vanilla, spearmint/tea tree oil, and geranium lime. Jasmint is my favorite fragrance so far and Orange vanilla I would say is the most mild. This formula keepse surprisingly pretty dry for most of the day. It only keeps the odor away for about 4 or 5 hours, which is the only reason I am giving the product 4 stars. Otherwise i love it! I am very sensitive to natural deodorants and have broken out in that nasty red, painful rash that you see with so many people. This product does not cause any irritation and in the frangrances with any mint oils, are actually soothing. Can't wait to try more bumble and bee products.
I've seen many positive reviews (which is one factor that prompted me to place an order), so I don't doubt that these products do work for some people. But for my family of five, not a single one of us smelled nice by day's end while using the Pit Putty. Is it our chemistry? I don't know. But I was very disappointed not to find one that did the job for us.
I liked being able to try each scent from the trial pack. It's incredible how I reacted to some scents (vanilla/orange, lemon/clove) and ended up sweating more. But the spearmint version and the jasmine worked great for me. I have hyperhydrosis so nothing will work 100% all day for me...just not realistic. I did try the Pit Primer first but did not notice that it made any difference. All in all, the creams that worked for me were way better than any of the conventional (and chemical-filled) antiperspirants out there. I still haven't tried the other formats though so perhaps those will be even more effective for me.
Bought this trial pack to try a few different scents from what I usually buy.
They all smelled good, but shea butter is the first ingredient in all of them. Whereas, in the normal size, arrowroot powder is the first ingredient. I found that these trial sizes did not last nearly as long as the regular-sized pit puttys, and I had to reapply consistently throughout the day.
I would have rather bought two regular-sized pit puttys (for about the same price) than buying the trial pack. Lesson learned.
REPLY: Oh thanks for bringing the typo to my attention--the trial sizes and the full sizes are the same formula, even from the same batches. Arrowroot powder should be listed as the first ingredient on the labels of the trial size, too. Glad to hear you found one that works with your body chemistry with the Almond Coconut! :D
