Peppermint & Tea Tree Shampoo 8 oz
Our shampoo is different because it contains no synthetic detergents; just gentle natural soap. Our great-grandmothers used simple soaps like these before the advent of synthetic shampoos. They had hair that was clean, shiny and healthy--without all the nasty chemicals. Your order comes with one 8 oz bottle of Peppermint & Tea Tree Shampoo, one 16 oz rinsing bottle (unless otherwise indicated), full instructions and information.

Where's the Conditioner?
Our products are a little bit different to use; it may take some getting used to. Instead of using a detergent shampoo (that strips your hair) and conditioner (that covers up the damage the shampoo did) we use a natural soap to clean and vinegar to balance hair's pH. The cleansing is so gentle you don't need conditioner, and the vinegar makes your hair exceptionally strong. Conventional shampoos and conditioners contain synthetic proteins and plasticizers that coat the hair. They have to do this to cover up the damage that the harsh detergents in the shampoo do to your hair. Our shampoo doesn't strip the hair of its oils, only removes the excess. You'll actually go through a hair "detox" period, where the synthetic proteins will be removed and you'll be able to feel your hair for the first time without these synthetic coatings. It will become naturally soft and smooth, and, as new hair grows in, it won't suffer the damage of the conventional shampoos. Over time, your hair's appearance will grow shinier and be stronger.
The Organic Peppermint & Tea Tree Shampoo contains sweet almond oil, macadamia nut oil, and jojoba oil for added conditioning. Jojoba oil is very similar in structure to our hairs' own natural oils, so it's a great conditioning agent. Sweet almond oil has long been used on hair and skin, and helps to strengthen skin and clarify scalp. And we've added sweet-smelling macadamia nut oil for added conditioning and softness. Peppermint and spearmint essential oils stimulate scalp and tea tree essential oil has been used historically to help itchy, dry, and oily scalp, fighting dandruff-causing fungus and promoting the healthy balance of scalp. We recommend this shampoo for normal to dry hair, even though, technically, there is no such thing as dry hair. Want to know why? Smelly Hair
Super excited to find a all natural products with great reviews and rating. I was a bit nervous about the amount of steps in the process but willing to try. I found that after I used the shampoo and the vinegar rinse my hair still smelled. It over powered the amazing smell of the shampoo. It also left my hair super greasy looking. I do have hard water so I tired the baking soda and it helped a bit but not enough for me to be satisfied. I hated not liking to product bc it smelled amazing and was all natural which I was looking for. However, the product did not mesh well with my hair so I will not be buying it again....

Not for me
I so wanted this to work because it works so well for my daughter who lives in a place with extremely soft water. Unlike her, this shampoo did not rinse out well for me, despite using a whole bottle of ACV. We have extremely hard water, so think that's the reason for the difference. Nothing wrong with the product, just doesn't work for me.

Peppermint & Tea Tree Shampoo
I really like the smell of the shampoo as well as how moisturized my hair feels after I've washed out the product. I do believe you get the best results with the vinegar wash, otherwise it seems to weigh the hair done and can dry fairly oily.

Peppermint tea tree shampoo
This is a great product. Yes the detox phase isn’t flattering and made me feel gross but soon after my hair looks feels so healthy. I use it on my 5 year old as well. Very easy once you get the process down. Highly recommend!!

Excellent shampoo
I have been using the Peppermint and Tea Tree shampoo for the past 3 weeks. It's my first truly natural shampoo, so I did perceive my hair acting a bit funny in the first 2 weeks (probably the "adaptation" period mentioned). Even during that period, my hair felt very soft and smooth. After that, my hair just gets softer, smoother, and shinier, and the curls are getting better definition each day. My only remark is that I do feel the need to use a leave-in product to style it - I have wavy/loose curly hair and without any styling cream is just didn' t work. I tried a couple of different things so far to test what works best for my hair. Here are a few observations: washing it every day (best option) vs every other day (my hair felt oily); not doing the vinegar rinse: my hair was way less shiny and soft; not using leave-in products: my hair was messier/less defined/more frizzy. Overall, highly recommend this and will continue using it!

Peppermint & Tea Tree Shampoo
Hands down the best shampoo I've ever used. And especially as a black woman with natural hair, it's hard to find products that are good for my curls. This shampoo and the vinegar rinse are the perfect wash and detangle combination.

Peppermint &Tea Tree
This shampoo is great stuff. I’ve been using it for some time, and my hair looks and feels fabulous. Conventional shampoo makes my hair too slick but B&Bs shampoo makes my hair feel like hair. Thanks Bubble and Bee!

All Time FAVORITE
I have been using Bubble & Bee Shampoo's for years now and I can not find another that even matches up to this! If you use it properly like instructed, in time you will LOVE YOUR HAIR! And then when you try to go back to any other shampoo you will see how the others truly damage your hair (you just don't know it because the others are tricky). Every time I've ran into a problem and had to use something else it's taken my hair back again to looking like every 50 year old's hair (yes I'm over 50) hehehe :) HEALTHY HAIR REALLY MAKES YOU LOOK YOUNGER!

Really Good Shampoo
Best shampoo ever! I do not use the vinegar because I have really thick and frizzy hair. The fragrance is divine! I'm hooked!

Nice shampoo!
It feels healthy and is moisturizing enough for dry climates. I have a sensitive scalp and it has been gentle but still gets rid of excess grease.

Really Good Shampoo
This is the BEST shampoo EVER!!! I've been using it for years and it has brought my hair back to HEALTHY! If you use it correctly with the vinegar rinse it is everything they claim! I never need conditioner either!!! All products I've tried from Bubble & Bee Organic are TOP RATED in my book... and i don't give out easy ratings. Stephanie was always very helpful with any questions (and I've had a lot) that I've had. TOP NOTCH STUFF FROM BUBBLE & BEE ORGANIC!!! :) Try Them!!!

Squeaky Clean!
Due to having sensitive skin and eczema, I started my journey with organic, clean, non-toxic products a couple of years. This is the first shampoo I've bought and I'm loving it. It has rekindled childhood memories (early 1950s in England) when we had very limited brand and product choices. Our Mums and Grannies did vinegar rinses because I we didn't have conditioners then but I forgot all about this until I used Bubble & Bee! Firstly, I have fairly thin, fine hair so I have no problem with working up some suds. Then comes the scalp tingle. Yes, I can't resist it. The tingle makes me just want to dig my fingers into my scalp and massage away. I can't stop myself! Then there's the vinegar rinse. I'm not trying to economise on vinegar but one diluted bottle is still going strong after 5 shampoos. But the huge thing is the SQUEAK. My hair literally squeaks when I run my fingers through it just like it did when Mum washed it when I was a tot. It's such a good feeling. I have no problem with "stringy" hair afterwards because I use a volumising mousse for styling. Eh voila, I'm so sold!

Loving it
I've tried natural shampoo products before but have always gone back to my old ways because I have issues with dandruff usually. I thought I would give this product a try since it has the tea tree oil in it and thought that would probably help with the dandruff. I've used it for about 1 1/2 weeks so far. My hair gets greasy faster than it was with other products, however I know that can be part of the detox process so I'm trying to be patient with it. Otherwise it seems to work great. It leaves my hair soft and shiny and so far no dandruff, which is great! I like that it actually does get a bit of a lather, as some natural shampoos do not and I find them harder to use. And the smell is great.

Amazing
This product seems interesting at first, especially with a vinegar rinse. But I have never had hair this soft and this smooth. It seems too good to be true. I’m glad I made the switch to a natural product.
