Raspberry & Vanilla Organic Body Butter 8 oz

I love lots about the body butters - I've used orange vanilla before. They do truly last all day and moisturize way beyond a regular lotion. However, they are very oily and take time after a shower to soak in. I have to only put them on when I know I can wait 10 minutes or so before putting clothes on, and be careful to not let my hair touch my greased-up shoulders. I'd like it to be a little more user-friendly to be at 5 stars. I didn't love this scent however. I do like fruit scents in general, but this one disappointed. Although I know it's super natural raspberry oil, it smells almost fake to me, like a scented plastic toy. I am sure it's because I have some association with this smell, and because I'm used to the actual fake scents in other raspberry-scented lotions. Since most people love the smell, I'll say the people who might want to pick another scent are those who are hoping either for the smell of a fresh raspberry or the smell of a Bath and Body Works-type of lotion. It's not that, so if you want that you may be disappointed.

It works much better after using the Apple salt scrub and it smells GREAT!

Thank you for making truly organic products that I can feel safe using and that smell amazing! I can finally use scented lotion. This scent is sweet, but not too sweet. A little goes a long way. It is very hydrating and keeps my skin nice and soft.

I've fallen in love with the Raspberry vanilla scent. At first, I wasn't sure but now I can't get enough of it. It's so delicious. And, the body butter is rich and heavenly. Yes, it sounds like I'm describing food because this is almost as good as dessert.

The smell is so delightful!! Nice, smooth texture when applying. Would definitely recommend.

Just get the big tub. I used to order the small containers when trying out a new scent, but they are all fantastic and you will regret having to ration it. This smells like real fresh raspberries. You can almost feel the seeds between your teeth. I have never found this to be too sweet or overpowering. Very light and fresh.

I've been ordering this body butter for several years now, and I think it's the best one out there. I'm really picky w/what I choose to put on my skin and I know that none of the organic, all natural ingredients in this will hurt me. Also, this is absolutely one of my favorite scents. It goes on greasy at first, but once it absorbs, your skin feels so soft and smells great!

This is incredible stuff! The way it comes out of the jar in a big fluffy poof then turns to liquid when I rub it in my hands is fascinating. At first the oily-ness was hard to get used to. But like other "clean ingredient" products by Bubble & Bee (deodorant for one) I have to learn how to use them. I used the Jasmine butter for a little while then stopped while I tried to learn what I might be doing wrong. Never give up going natural! We are so conditioned to the way the synthetic junk goes on and feels. When I went back to the B & B body butter I realized I have to touch several different areas on my arm for instance, and then rub all those areas together. Verses putting my hand that is loaded with oil onto one spot and then trying to rub that around.

I love this lotion. It doesn't leave me with a greasy feeling, which I simply cannot stand. I wet the backs of my hands and rub in a small amount of body butter very well. It's very moisturizing, perfect for dry winter skin!

It smells so good I want to eat it. Instead I smear it all over myself. I'd been using quality ingredient lotion but still water-based. The butta is definitely thicker but who cares, it feels fabulous.
